As we said, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to have four different actors for the main character. Development studio BioWare has revealed the cast for the main character and his entourage in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The news is that the protagonist will have four different voices.
BioWare's games once starred famous actors, such as Martin Sheen, Lance Henriksen, Keith David and others. In the case of the upcoming Dragon Age: The Veilguard, the cast will not be made up of Hollywood stars.
But, the game will rely on voice acting talents who have already participated in the development of the games.
The cast of Veilguard was thus revealed, and one atypical thing stood out in the reveal. Namely, the protagonist of the game, called Rook, will have as many as four different actors and voices that players will be able to choose from.
It will be Alex Jordan (starred in Cyberpunk 2077), Jeff Berg (Battlefield 1), Bryony Corrigan (starred in Baldur's Gate 3), and Erika Ishii (Apex Legends).
As for the supporting cast, the following ten actors have been hired:
- Ali Hillis (Mass Effect 3) – Harding
- Ike Amadi (Mass Effect 3) – Davrin
- Jee Young Han (Unprisoned) – Bellara
- Jessica Clark (True Blood) – Neve
- Jin Maley (Star Trek: Picard) – Taash
- Nick Boraine (CoD: Modern Warfare) – Emmrich
- Matthew Mercer (Fallout 4) – Manfred
- Zach Mendez (Horizon Forbidden West) – Lucanis
- Gareth David-Lloyd (Dragon Age Inquisition) – Solas
- Brian Bloom (Dragon Age Inquisition) – Varric
Of course, this is not the entire cast. BioWare points out that the game will have more characters and actor names, as many new ones as possible returning ones, but they will not reveal them before the release due to spoilers.
