Blizzard have confirmed that the Diablo 4 open beta will feature a world boss named Ashava that will spawn in the Fractured Peaks zone from time to time.
Ashava is the only world boss that will spawn in the Diablo 4 this and next weekend when the open beta officially kicks off. Blizzard have shared some new information about this boss, including some lore details, abilities and official spawn times.
Obviously, this world boss won't be available all the time in the world so you'll have to play at a certain time to slay it. Ashava will spawn a total of four times in the early access beta and four times in the open beta next week.

Here’s when you’ll have an opportunity to combat Ashava during the Open Beta and Early Access weekends:
US
- March 18 at 10 AM, 12 PM, 10 PM and midnight PDT
- March 25 at 10 AM, 12 PM, 10 PM and midnight PDT
EU
- March 18 at 6 PM, 8 PM, 6 AM and 8 AM CET
- March 25 at 6 PM, 8 PM, 6 AM and 8 AM CET

Keep in mind that you will not be able to defeat this large world boss on your own. Blizzard say that players should come prepared for an intense fight with other players and their friends in order to slay the beast and get a sizeable loot drop.

Daring wanderers seeking a sizeable challenge should look no further—Ashava, a whirlwind of pestilence, has recently emerged in Fractured Peaks. Journal entries recounting sightings of this gargantuan plague bearer make note of her two massive forearm blades and ability to coat the ground in a viscous poison. Her blades, which can cleanly cut through stone and flesh alike, are to be feared. Records appear to mention a way to weaken Ashava, but unfortunately that portion of the page has corroded away.
