Blizzard Entertainment today revealed a ton of new details about Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred's Spiritborn class, which will be the most aggressive class in the game with four different playstyles.

Diablo 4 fans today got to see the first deep gameplay reveal of the upcoming class called Spiritborn, which is arriving with the game's first expansion Vessel of Hatred later this year. Blizzard Entertainment developer sat down in the latest stream to talk more about the lore, playstyle, items, skills and everything else regarding Spiritborn.

In a nutshell, Blizzard say that Spiritborn are jungle warriors powered by spirits and they are masters of martial arts. Players will get to choose from four combat styles which include Jaguar, Gorilla, Eagle and Centipede. Each of these obviously comes with its own set of skills and different playstyle for players to build around.

Additionally, Blizzard say Spiritborn will be their fastest and most aggressive class in the game, suggesting that this one is probably oriented more towards experienced Diablo 4 players, not newbies to the franchise.

One thing that I particularly liked about the class is how you can activate your Ultimate Skills to summon the spirits for a couple of seconds, which looks awesome visually but also deals great damage. Here's an example of the Eagle and Centipede's ultimate skills in the screenshots below:

If I ever get to play this class in Diablo 4, I think I'll go for the Centipede playstyle

I wholeheartedly recommend you check out the live stream if you're excited about Vessel of Hatred and the upcoming class as there's a ton of interesting and exciting info there, including lore bits, itemisation, new legendaries and much more.

Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred is officially coming on October 8, 2024. It will introduce a new villain called Mephisto, a whole new Jungle region and more. The expansion will be available across all platforms including PC and consoles.

At the moment we don't know if the expansion is coming to Game Pass day one. It's very unlikely as paid expansions usually are not included in Microsoft's subscription service on launch.
