Blizzard's latest Diablo 4 video reveals additional details about the endgame features but players seem to be disappointed by the lack of proper explanation and showcase for some of these features.
Blizzard have dropped a brand new Diablo 4 video on YouTube and they probably didn't expect to get an almost 1:1 like to dislike ratio. In the video titled Into the Endgame, Blizzard developers talked about, as you can probably guess, Diablo 4's endgame features and everything that players can expect when they hit the endgame.
The devs mentioned endgame exploration, Nightmare dungeons, Paragon and more. However, players feel like this video was just a marketing video and nothing more since Blizzard did not offer enough detail or footage of some endgame features, to explain players what these offer and why are they important.
One example is the Paragon system. Players are not happy that Blizzard did not even go into the Glyph system and levelling up glyphs and how that has an effect on the Paragon boards.
Some argue that these short videos are actually targeted at casual gamers and those who are just entering the Sanctuary with Diablo 4. That could be true since Blizzard were quick to confirm a lengthy developer insight video, right after they released the Into the Endgame video. The stream will go live on April 20.
In this upcoming live stream, Blizzard are expected to talk in detail about the endgame including the Paragon Board and Glyphs so hopefully, hardcore Diablo players will be happy with that one.
Diablo 4 certainly is one of the most anticipated games of 2023 so expect a lot more info drops and videos from the developer as we get closer to launch. Diablo 4 is officially launching on June 6, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. For more about the game, check out the stories below:
