Rustberry became available in Eververse on March 9, 2021. The shader gained popularity in Destiny 2 when Guardians inspecting it saw that it fits well with many armour sets, often giving the distinct feel of leather patches on an armour piece or just colouring weapons and armour into black and white on some occasions.
The shader will remain in the store until March 16, 2021, when the next weekly reset occurs at 18:00 GMT or 10:00 AM PT. While the shader is the highlight of this week's Bright Dust offerings in Eververse, there are several other cool cosmetics to consider. As per usual, the shader unlock price is 40 Bright Dust.
Three Exotic pieces, one per class, can get alternative looks thanks to the ornaments in store:
- Titans get Thanatanaut's Peril for Mask of the Quiet One
- Hunters get Rigel Crossroads for Graviton Forfeit
- Warlocks get Matterflare for Lunafaction Boots
