Bungie announced that almost every activity is getting a weapon refresh in Season 15 of Destiny, on top of having a new ritual weapon.
Chasing guns is one of the pillars of Destiny 2 and Bungie is finally adding a bunch of them to refresh the players' inventories. They are not necessarily brand new but they haven't been around long enough and they are getting new perks to keep players interested in finding them.
Season 15 will introduce a new ritual weapon - the one you can get from Strikes, Crucible or Gambit, depending on which activity you like the most. It will be a sleek new rocket launcher that will get themed ornaments but other than that, Bungie didn't reveal much in order to avoid spoiling the surprise.
Furthermore, post-match rewards for the aforementioned activities will have three additional weapons in the loot pool - a sidearm for Strikes, auto rifle for Crucible and a scout rifle for Gambit.
Prophecy dungeon is fun to play but the wish to farm the loot we already had was waning so Bungie reintroduced Trials of the Nine weapons - a total of six of them will drop from the dungeon.
If you're not into the activity that's a bit more challenging than usual, there are also six new weapons in the world pool so keep an eye on those as well.
