Bungie are still a few weeks away from launching Festival of the Lost in 2020 edition but the teaser images for the new armour have already leaked.

Festival of the Lost usually appears in Destiny 2 around the same time as Halloween festivities kick off in other video games and Eva Levante stays at the Tower for a few weeks. Roughly one month before any festivities could commence, however, teaser images for the themed armour appeared on Reddit , courtesy of a known data miner.

The same thread that showed the two teaser images of the armour, one seen above and one below, also noted that Festival of the Lost will kick off on October 6, 2020. Besides knowing when to start participating in the event, this date is also important for the Destiny 2 players who might want to save up on Bright Dust.

Yes, that means these are not actually armour sets but rather universal ornaments that can be applied to any legendary armour relevant in the current and coming seasons.

Warlock ornaments seem to be inspired by Count Dracula or at least any classy vampire in the horror fiction as the image shows clear resemblance to some of the Victorian era clothing and the helmet has emphasised fangs.

Inspiration for the Hunter ornaments is seemingly drawn from werewolf lore as there are fur patches on the body armour and the mask itself looks rather lupine.

It's somewhat harder to determine where the inspiration for the Titan set comes from since the images have different helmets in them but there are certainly some resemblances to Frankenstein's monster.
