SIE Bend Studio released another trailer for their post-apocalyptic zombie action adventure Days Gone. This time, the devs are introducing us to infected predators such as bears and wolves that have fancy zombie names - Runners and Ragers.
Less than 24 hours are left before we finally get our hands on SIE Bend Studio's zombie action adventure Days Gone. Over the last few weeks, the devs have been introducing players to many features and dangers they will find in the game and judging by the latest video, the biggest and toughest enemies have been left for the very end.
Along with the standard zombie type enemies we already saw in previous gameplay footage, Bend Studio also have predator zombies, or Infected Predators how they love to call them. According to the devs, once they made the decision to include the infected creatures, they had to be as authentic as possible and "the kind of animals you would find there anyway".
The zombie animals will include infected wolves, bears and crows or Ragers, Runners and Criers respectively. These are "super dangerous" zombie types according to the devs and judging by the trailer, players will have a rough time if they ever get downed or find themselves cornered by these predators.
As these creatures are naturally aggressive, the virus makes them "hyper-aggressive", bloodthirsty and eager to eat Deacon St. John. Animals will be able to knock you off your bike, grab, smash and tear you apart if you don't get away in time.
Crows or Criers will dive bomb if you drive near their nests, Runners or wolves can run as fast as your bike and will be a constant danger so you better keep your eyes open even when you go for a nice little ride. And last but not least, Bears or Ragers deal massive damage and are relentless creatures. They have massive health and taking them down won't be an easy task.
All in all, Days Gone certainly won't lack various types of infected creatures that will only have one goal - to make you their dinner. You'll get to kill them tomorrow - 26 April 2019, exclusively on PlayStation 4.
