According to the latest datamine from Redditor LeoNatan, Mortal Kombat 11 could have nine DLC characters. The game's files include references for already rumoured Spawn along with some other interesting fighters like Joker and Terminator.
NetherRealm Studios' eleventh instalment in the brutal fighting series Mortal Kombat is less than 24 hours away and as you may know, it brings a lot of new and returning characters along with new fighting arenas and features.
Mortal Kombat 11's roster counts 25 fighters at the moment, including Shao Khan, who becomes available only if you pre-order the game. Along with these characters, NetherRealm will add a certain number of DLC fighters in Mortal Kombat 11's Kombat Pack, which also includes other content like skins, gear sets and one-week early access to new characters.
According to some earlier leaks, the post-launch content would add 13 new fighters, but according to the latest datamine from Reddit user LeoNatan, that number could be lower, as he found only nine slots in the game files of Mortal Kombat 11 Switch version.
The full list of character's names was also revealed, and if it turns out that these were indeed correct, we're up for some interesting fighters from numerous, beloved franchises. You can check the list below.

As you can see, some of these characters were rumoured earlier. Spawn was mentioned in 2018 when the comic creator Todd McFarlane confirmed that his character is on his way to Mortal Kombat 11.
Two most exciting additions are certainly the Joker from Batman franchise and the Terminator. Unfortunately, it's unknown if Arnold Schwarzenegger will make an appearance.
Mortal Kombat 11's Kombat Pack, which is a part of the Premium Edition will include six characters, so it's possible that other remaining three will be a part of another Kombat Pack, possibly scheduled to arrive a bit after the first one.
