CD Projekt Red have released a fresh batch of Cyberpunk 2077 concept art, showcasing one of the oldest districts in the city named Santo Domingo, which gives strong Elysium and District 9 vibes.

As you may know, Cyberpunk 2077's Night City is made of several districts and each of these districts has its own unique feel and atmosphere. Previously, CD Projekt Red showcased the heart of Night City - The City Center - which is also a corporate showcase.

Today, the devs have shared concept art from a different district named Santo Domingo, which corporations use as a testing ground while its residents are living desperately in crowded megabuildings. You can check out the three artworks below:

Those who love sci-fi films with a dose of realism will immediately notice that Santo Domingo closely resembles locations from creations like District 9 and Elysium. Santo Domingo really does look like a desperate place and we cannot wait to see what type of activities we'll find there.

"Santo Domingo is one of Night City’s oldest districts. Corporations use it as a testing ground for industrial projects, destroying old factories just to build new ones, while residents scrape a desperate living in crowded megabuildings — wishing for something better," CD Projekt Red described the district.
