CD Projekt Red have shared a couple of new artworks of Badlands region in Cyberpunk 2077. Badlands is described as sparsely populated area with vast plains just outside of the city.
Badlands is a vast area in Cyberpunk 2077 set just outside the flashy lights of Night City. Usually, it is a place for Nomads and it is a highly polluted region which makes Nighty City feel like a rich oasis. CD Projekt Red revealed a couple of new artworks featuring these vast plains.
Just as you may expect, the artwork shows pretty depressing locations with oil fields and dusty camps. Here's how CD Projekt Red describes Badlands:
"Sparsely populated by Nomads, the Badlands are the vast plains outside of the city proper. Unchecked resource extraction, burning oil fields, rampant pollution; this district makes Night City feel like a rich oasis. But it holds golden opportunities for those in the know."
Earlier, we also got to see some of the districts from Night City. For those who watched Elysium or District 9, Santo Domingo will look very familiar. Westbrook , on the other hand, is a place to live if you have deep pockets.
Cyberpunk 2077 is officially hitting the shelves on November 19, 2020, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will also arrive to next-gen consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, on day one and to Google Stadia at a later date.
