Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk is enjoying CD Projekt Red's action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 but he is not impressed with the fact that even hotfixes have hotfixes.
Elon Musk is a big fan of video games and from time to time, he likes to talk about his favourite titles over on Twitter. You may recall that he once compared social media websites to games, calling Twitter the Dark Souls of social media.
He's also a big fan of CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 despite all the issues that the game is plagued with. As you may know, CD Projekt Red have been releasing hotfixes, fixing the bugs and other issues but the recent hotfix even managed to introduce new bugs, which prevented players from completing certain quests.
Musk was unimpressed with these patches so he tweeted: "With Cyberpunk, even the hotfixes literally have hotfixes," he said but added that Cyberpunk 2077 is still a great game. "but…great game".
To be honest, Musk certainly has a point. These hotfixes have not been as impactful as players hoped they would be but it's still early days and hopefully, CD Projekt Red will iron out all the problems in the coming months, just like they promised recently.
We also have to agree with Elon's second point. Despite all the issues, Cyberpunk 2077 is indeed an enjoyable experience with a great story and stunning world. It's definitely a game that you should try but it would not hurt to wait for bigger patches.
