The great return

Crysis Remastered is set to launch on PlayStation 4 and potentially Xbox One this Friday, August 21, 2020. This is according to a video from PlayStation Access YouTube which has been quickly deleted.

Crysis Remastered, a re-release of the iconic shooter from 2007 has been announced earlier this year for consoles and PC but sadly, due to the dealy, we are yet to get our hands on the game, with the exception of inferior Nintendo Switch version, which launched as planned.

However, it looks like the wait could be over, at least for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players. Last week, Crytek teased the release via their social media channels with the following message:

"Raptor Team, prepare for landing! The wait is almost over, and we promise it will be worth it! Please stand-by for further intel."

This suggests that the release date reveal is imminent and thanks to a since-deleted video from PlayStation Access YouTube , it looks like Friday, August 21, 2020, is the day when Crysis is landing on PlayStation 4 and probably Xbox One.

Crytek are yet to officially announce the date so take this with a grain of salt until we get a confirmation from the devs.

If the leak is indeed true, then it's possible that Crytek won't reveal the date before the release and could instead opt to simply announce that Crysis Remastered is out on consoles.
