Crytek have shared another tease via their Twitter account and this time it's a screenshot from Crysis 3 game, suggesting that an announcement for a remaster could be coming soon.
Leaked Crytek files from a couple of months ago revealed that the studio has or at some point had plans to release Crysis Remastered trilogy in the near future. As you may know, the first game has already arrived but we are yet to get an official confirmation that the other two games are also being released with fancy new visuals and other improvements.
However, over the last couple of days, Crytek have been dropping subtle hints via Crysis Twitter, which suggest that the announcement for Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 remasters could be just around the corner. First off, they tweeted a line from Crysis 2 a couple of days ago and today, the team dropped a screenshot from Crysis 3. Check it out below:
Yeah, it's safe to say that Crytek are definitely up to something and that something could be an imminent announcement of these two remasters. If we had to guess, we would say that E3 seems like a perfect opportunity for the reveal.
Whether Crytek plan to announce both games at the same time, it remains to be seen, though.
