Crimson Desert, the long-awaited open-world action-adventure, is nearly here. Pearl Abyss has just announced all the available versions that players can preorder the game in. Every version comes with its own set of bonuses, some that you can use in-game while others are physical goods.
As of now, there are three versions players can choose from. The Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition. The standard version just comes with the game and a couple bonuses.
The higher-tier versions grant players cosmetic equipment sets, physical goods, and collectibles. Wondering what edition is worth buying? Here’s everything you need to know about the pre-order bonuses, contents, and prices.
Crimson Desert Pre-Order Bonus
Players can get one bonus item in-game by pre ordering Crimson Desert. This item is the Khaled Shield. It’s a nice little bonus for completionists/pre-order collectors who want that little bit extra incentive to buy the game early.
Standard Edition
The Standard Edition gives you absolutely nothing past the base game and the pre-order bonus. PlayStation 5 owners will however get an extra piece of equipment as a launcher bonus for the console.
Included in the Standard Edition:
- Base game
- Pre order bonus: Khaled Shield
- Grotevant Plate Set (PS5 bonus)
- Grotevant Plate Helm
- Grotevant Plate Armor
- Grotevant Cloak
- Grotevant Plate Gloves
- Grotevant Plate Boots
Buy this if you don’t want to spend any extra money on physical goodies or cosmetic equipment.
Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Edition includes a few extra armour sets and cosmetic equipment. If you buy the collectors edition on physical media you will also receive a handful of bonuses.
In-game you get the Kairos Plate Set and the Exclaire Horse Tack Set as additions to the Standard Edition rewards.Boxed versions of the game include a steelbook case, letter from the developers, character photo cards and a world of Pywel map.
Collector’s Edition
Buying the Collector’s Edition will set you back quite a bit more than the other two versions but it’s mostly aimed at fans and collectors. It comes with everything from the Deluxe Edition on digital media and adds even more physical goodies.
The Crimson Desert Diorama is easily the highlight of the box. Other goodies include a Pywel fabric map, patches, character photo cards, steelbook case, and a pin.
