earl Abyss has revealed the full voice cast for Crimson Desert, and it's a seriously impressive lineup. From BAFTA winners to Baldur's Gate veterans, the six actors bringing the game's principal characters to life suggest Pearl Abyss has invested heavily in the narrative side of things.

Pearl Abyss has pulled back the curtain on Crimson Desert's voice cast, and it's fair to say they haven't been cutting corners. The developer confirmed six actors portraying the game's main characters, each paired with their in-game counterpart.

As you can see from the list below, Crimson Desert has some serious talent voicing its main story characters.

Crimson Desert's voice cast

  • Alec Newman as Kliff (Dune, Cyberpunk 2077, Still Wakes the Deep — BAFTA Games Award winner for Performer in a Leading Role)
  • Stewart Scudamore as Oongka (Arcane, Carnival Row, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey)
  • Rebecca Hanssen as Damiane (The Witcher, Baldur's Gate III, Stellar Blade)
  • Peter Bramhill as Yann (Final Fantasy XIV, The Witcher, Royal Shakespeare Company)
  • Emily Barber as Naira (Bridgerton, Industry, MobLand)
  • Alastair Parker as Myurdin (Dragon Age: Inquisition)

Alec Newman, known for Dune and Primeval, voices Crimson Desert's brooding protagonist Kliff

The names here carry genuine weight. Newman is a LAMDA-trained actor who won a BAFTA for his leading role in Still Wakes the Deep and voiced the iconic Adam Smasher in Cyberpunk 2077

Hanssen, meanwhile, has quietly become one of the most recognisable voices in prestige RPGs having led Stellar Blade as Eve and voiced fan-favourite Alfira in Baldur's Gate III, last year's Game of the Year.

Bramhill brings a decade of Final Fantasy XIV under his belt alongside Royal Shakespeare Company credentials, while Barber arrives fresh from Guy Ritchie's MobLand, sharing scenes with Tom Hardy and Helen Mirren.

What this means for the game

Pearl Abyss has been making a concerted push to position Crimson Desert as a premium, story-driven experience rather than simply another open-world action title. And it's safe to say that assembling a cast of this calibre backs that claim up considerably. Whether these voices are attached to characters worth caring about remains to be seen but on paper, the foundations look very solid indeed.

Crimson Desert is set to launch on March 19, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
