Pearl Abyss has announced that Crimson Desert has officially hit gold. The open-world action-adventure game completed its core development phase and is now ready for final production and distribution.
Crimson Desert is now prepared to ship to customers all over the world later this spring. Achieving gold status indicates that development on the actual content of the game is finished.
At this point, players can only expect day-one updates or patches to arrive after launch. Pearl Abyss celebrated the occasion by showing some gratitude to fans across the world that have backed the project from start to finish.

Pearl Abyss shared a message with the community detailing their thank you to players who have tracked the games development. “Our magnificent journey would not have been possible without our fans who have supported us from Day 1 when we first announced Crimson Desert.
We’re proud to announce that Crimson Desert has officially gone GOLD!” reads a statement from Pearl Abyss. “Thank you to everyone who has believed in us during our adventure. We can’t wait to invite you into the world of Pywel this March.”
