Staying true to their promise from last week, Treyarch are rolling out Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's 1.12 update for PS4 and Xbox One, adding Blackjack's Gun Game as featured playlist, tweaks to armour, concussion and cluster 'nades and more.
As far as multiplayer goes, featured playlists are richer by Blackjack's Gun Game, which comes with the new KAP 45 auto-pistol. Call of Duty's new update also debuts Hardcore Moshpit in the featured category, with Endurance Chaos Moshpit also making a return "by popular demand".
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's battle royale mode Blackout has received a tuning pass with the 1.12 update, starting with a nerf of damage mitigation percentage on all three armour levels. Furthermore, level 3 armour will no longer offer explosive and melee damage protection.
Blackout's concussion grenades have had their radius and status effect duration nerfed and the same goes for cluster grenades, whose mini-cluster damage has been dialled down and fuse times increased.
Treyarch reminded that Black Ops 4's new update debuts Ambush on the PlayStation 4, replacing the Down But Not Out limited time mode, although Xbox One and PC players can keep playing it for another week, as per Activision and Sony's one-week exclusivity deal. only allows for using sniper rifles, melee attacks and launchers, "in a circle that never stops collapsing once it starts!"
Later this week, Blackout is getting full camo progression, which means that you'll soon be able to strut your battle royale mastery by unlocking and equipping different camos. Treyarch said they'll have more information soon but confirmed that the feature "will include a path to unlocking Gold, Diamond, and Dark Matter camos in Blackout."
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's undead-a-palooza, Zombies, has received a bunch of new weapons, which arrive in mystery boxes across all Zombies maps. We're talking about the MP40, Grav, Daemon 3XB, Swat RFT and KAP 45, "with progression and customization for loot weapons available in the Armory as those weapons are unlocked in the Black Market."
Call of Duty's PS4 edition of Zombies has received the new IX Gauntlet dubbed Veni, Vidi, Zombie!, which brings up to 30 new rounds of challenges.
