Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is a possible candidate for Call of Duty Pro League?

Let's face it - PC users have been forced to pay for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One shortcomings for years now so Treyarch's latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 trailer is a pretty nice attempt at appeasing the proud Master Race members.

Now before this turns into a mindless PS4/Xbox One vs. PC fight, let me make one thing clear. Even though we at AltChar enjoy an occasional dig at whatever the other guy or girl is using, we play it all and deep down inside - we're here for the games, not the medium.

Moving on then. Treyarch's new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 trailer is actually called 'PC trailer', so the dev obviously wanted us to take notice. It says the game's been optimised for the PC, bringing uncapped frame rate, 4K resolution and "extensive control customisations".

There's support for ultra-wide displays, as well as multi-display setups, so if you've gotten yourself one of those pilot-practising multi-monitor setups at home, you should be well covered once Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 hits the shelves.

Treyarch say that gameplay and gunplay has been specifically tailored for mouse and keyboard. I must admit though, even though gameplay had occasional excursions into wtf territory, I cannot fault Call of Duty series for gunplay, at least not when compared to some of its competitors. Heck, you could argue they invented first person shooter gunplay and you wouldn't be far off.

Players will get a proper taste of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 soon, with Treyarch's battle royale mode The Blackout going into on 15 September 2018. While most players seem to have expected The Blackout trailer, this one will obviously have to do for now.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launches on 12 October 2018 and since Activision and Blizzard are engaged now, it will be available exclusively on

On a somewhat related note, whoever's playing CoD: BO4 on this trailer is a beast - somebody either hire that guy or find what aimbot he's using, seriously.
