Torn Banner Studios, the developer behind the upcoming medieval slasher game Chivarly 2 has revealed some fresh details about their game on today's Epic Games Store Spring Showcase live-stream.

The devs revealed the game's release date and closed beta date and how to access it. Additionally, they talked about some gameplay elements like improvements they've made to combat and other mechanics.

Anyway, the release date for the highly-anticipating melee action title is set for June 8, 2021. As you probably know by now, if you follow the development of Chivalry 2, it's launching on PC and consoles. Interestingly, the devs confirmed cross-play between all platforms meaning that players with controllers will have to fight players on mouse and keyboard. Sounds painful? Yeah, we think so too.
