Chivalry 2 cross-play closed beta dates confirmed

Today, developer Torn Banner Studios have confirmed the closed beta dates for their highly-anticipated melee action game Chivalry 2. The beta will run from April 23 to April 26, 2021.

Following the recent announcement that Chivalry 2 will launch globally on June 8, 2021 with Cross-Play support for PC via Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, the developer Torn Banner Studios, publisher Tripwire Presents, and publishing partner Deep Silver have announced that pre-orders are now live on all platforms. 

This includes both retail and digital pre-orders for the price of $39.99, €39.99 and £34.99. Those who pre-order the game will get guaranteed access to the upcoming Chivalry 2 cross-play closed beta test which also got a release date in today's announcement.

The cross-play closed beta is scheduled to run from Friday, April 23 at 10:30 AM EDT through Monday, April 26 at 10:30 PM EDT (04:30 AM CET). 

On top of this, players who pre-order the game will also get some extra rewards. The standard edition pre-order of Chivalry 2, available for both digital and retail, will grant players the Royal Zweihänder weapon skin. The Special Edition, offered for digital pre-order only, comes with additional exclusive items in addition to the Royal Zweihander weapon skin, to further enhance the Chivalry 2 gameplay experience.

In case you are not familiar with the game, Chivarly 2 is a first-person melee action multiplayer game with large-scale battles, castle sieges and much more. It's a sequel to the critically acclaimed Chivalry: Medieval Warfare which released in 2012.
