Call of Duty: Warzone could finally introduce the rumoured five-man Squad playlist in the upcoming Season 5 update, which is officially dropping tomorrow - August 5, 2020.

Activision and Infinity Ward have announced a Season 5 update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone for tomorrow - August 5, 2020. The fifth season is set to introduce a ton of new content including new weapons, operators, maps, battle pass and changes to battle royale map Verdansk.

The publisher are yet to officially reveal the content that will arrive with the Season 5 update but some of the new stuff has been shown in the reveal trailer, which you can watch below.

As you can see, the Stadium is finally opened and the rumoured train is also one of the new additions. One thing that you probably have missed in this jam-packed video is right at 1:36 mark. You can also check it out in the screenshot below.

Five-man Squads have been rumoured for Call of Duty: Warzone ever since the launch of the free to play battle royale. Back then, the devs said they will consider the mode but obviously, it never happened. Whether that changes it remains to be seen. It would not be the first time that Infinity Ward and Activision teased the new additions this way.

We've seen all sorts of playlists in Warzone lately and five-man Squads would certainly be an interesting addition. Let's wait and see if it is indeed happening in Season 5.
