Upping the player limit to 200 players has been one of Call of Duty: Warzone's announced goals and if rumours are true, Infinity Ward could be adding it soon.
According to Dissolve Gaming, Call of Duty: Warzone's upcoming playlists are 200 BR, 200 Plunder and BR Juggernaught, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what the first two names are referring to.
Now, the 200 limit was always going to be breached, as Activision touted the 200 figure as one of the end goals for their battle royale. That said, we expected it to launch a bit later in Call of Duty: Warzone.
Call of Duty: Warzone's update schedule is back on track, after a while of being disrupted by the ongoing protests in the US. It did so with a bang, introducing new maps, new guns, Warzone in-match events, mastery challenges and more.
Players have once again complained about the hefty footprint , which has many players removing game after game in order to play, and Call of Duty: Warzone developer insists they're looking at it. They're compressing files in order to save any available room but in the meantime, console players are advised to remove individual modes they're not playing at the moment.
We suppose it won't take long before we learn whether Infinity Ward are upping the head-count in Call of Duty: Warzone. It'll also be interesting to see whether it changes the overall feel or match dynamic.
