According to reliable Call of Duty leaker, The Gaming Revolution, Infinity Ward are working on around 60 multiplayer maps for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Apparently, they want to make "Modern Warfare the best of modern warfare games".

Infinity Ward and Activision released a ton of post-launch content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in the last several months and it is safe to say that players have a wide variety of multiplayer maps and game modes to choose from.

As expected, the devs will look to add even more content in the future updates. One of these updates will arrive with the new, Season 3, which is coming in less than 10 days. Recently, we got some leaks which revealed two new maps that will arrive to the multiplayer.

However, this is only a small fraction of what's to come. According to a reliable Call of Duty leaker The Gaming Revolution, Infinity Ward and Activision are currently planning around 60 multiplayer maps for Modern Warfare. Yes, you read that right, 60 multiplayer maps are in the work.

Players will be happy to hear that the majority of the new maps will be remastered versions of fan favourites from the Modern Warfare trilogy. This means we could get Favela, Scrapyard, Terminal, Wasteland, Outpost and many more.

At the moment, Activision are yet to confirm that more multiplayer maps from previous games will be coming to Modern Warfare, but as we mentioned before, the leaks already revealed Village and Backlot , which suggests that remastered maps are indeed Activision's plan for the future of Modern Warfare.
