Call of Duty: Modern Warfare adds a brand new Gunfight map

In this week's update, Activision and Infinity Ward have added a couple of new things along with the traditional playlist refresh in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has received a ton of fresh content since its release back in October 2019 and of course, the publisher Activision and the developer Infinity Ward will only look to expand their game even further with new maps, operators, weapons and more.

Recently, Season 2 officially dropped, adding a fresh batch of new stuff including the iconic Rust map and today, additional Season 2 content has been rolled out for all players. Activision detailed all of these new additions in their "This Week in Call of Duty" blog post over at the official website .

The biggest inclusion has arrived to Gunfight mode. Named Bazaar, it is a new map, taking place in a small corner of Urzikstan, described as a multi-level three lane battlefield. 

Modern Warfare's largest mode Ground War also get special treatment. You can now play Realism mode variant without tanks on the battlefield, instead, you will face-off against infantry and smaller vehicles.

Last but not least, this week you will enjoy Double XP, starting on 28 February 2020 at 10 AM PT and ending on 02 March 2020 at 10 AM PT.
