Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign remaster has appeared on Korean ratings board Grac. An application for the rating has been submitted by Blizzard Entertainment on 26 February 2020.
As you may recall, a PEGI rating for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's campaign appeared last year, suggesting an official announcement by Activision. However, since then, we got nothing but rumours suggesting that Modern Warfare 2 campaign remaster is indeed in the works and should be coming soon.
And it looks like this could truly be the case after the latest rating, this time over at the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee . The rating has been spotted by Spiel Times and as expected, the game is rated 18.
The application for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered has been submitted by Blizzard Entertainment last month, 26 February 2020 to be more precise. Whether this means that we are getting a full announcement pretty soon it remains to be seen.
Earlier rumours suggested that Activision plan to release several Call of Duty games in the next two years - from a free to play title, a remaster and a major Call of Duty game. With the success of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the recent Warzone, it is not surprising that the publisher want to offer more games from the popular series.
Sadly, we do not know when exactly will Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered arrive but hopefully, more details about the game will emerge in the near future.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 released back in 2009. It is a direct sequel to Call of Duty 4 and it features one of the best campaigns in the entire franchise. Its No Russian mission is still one of the most controversial gaming moments of the last decade.
