Treyarch barely kicked off their latest Call of Duty entry but they are already announcing a treat for the players - a double experience weekend in Black Ops Cold War.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War double experience and weapon experience event will kick off on November 24, 2020, at 10:00 AM PT / 6:00 PM UTC. The event will last for an entire week before coming to a close with November 30. The closing time has not been announced officially but it's possible it's the same time slot as the one when it begins.

The experience boost is coming at the same time as Nuketown '84, a classic map many CoD fans are definitely looking forward to as its core is a virtually bottomless pit of memories, memes and quickscope feats that caused more dopamine spikes than one can count.

That said, it remains to be seen whether Nuketown will be as enjoyable as before since many players found Black Ops Cold War's multiplayer to be bland, for the lack of better descriptor. Map design is certainly crucial in shooter games but they work hand in hand with gameplay design and when one falters, it's possible the other will not live up to its full potential.

While Treyarch announced the bonuses on their Twitter account, they didn't elaborate whether they will stack with the ones you may have obtained from Doritos or other brand partnerships.

Whatever the case, if you are liking Black Ops Cold War so far, the next seven days or so should be a blast for you. Have fun!
