Days of Summer, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's seasonal game update is already live on PlayStation 4, which means PC and Xbox One players will have to be patient. The update brings free Grind map, Capture the Flag, new guns, tweaks and more.
Thankfully, Activision Blizzard have slashed Sony's timed exclusivity of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's content to a single week, so the Master Race and Xbox One players aren't lagging behind much.
"Everyone's favorite Black Ops 2 skatepark is back, and it's free for all players! We're excited to announce Grind is now available in rotation today in Multiplayer on PS4, and it's just like you remember", Treyarch wrote.
Days of Summer also adds Capture the Flag as a Featured Playlist in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's multiplayer. We're talking about standard CTF - you try to protect your flags while stealing enemy ones, with the first team that reaches two wins being the winner.
"Today's update also brings a treasure trove of new and classic weapons for MP, with a Weapon Bribe at Tier 25 in the Contraband stream, the new Vendetta sniper rifle at Tier 50, and the S6 Stingray tactical rifle, Peacekeeper assault rifle, Locus bolt-action sniper rifle, and Ballistic Knife now available in the Black Market and unlockable through the Weapon Bribe", they said.
Spectre, Nomad and Ajax are getting some gameplay tweaks, the SG-12 Strobe Light update as well as bans for players who leave mid match in League Play.
Summer came to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 too, and Treyarch ensured appropriate foliage, hidden coolers with paint can rewards, balloons, seasonal decorations, etc.
"Ground War makes its debut today with large-scale 50 vs. 50 warfare in Blackout! Drop in along your team's flightpath or get behind enemy lines early on, and eliminate the opposing team to secure the win", Treyarch wrote.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's PlayStation 4 players should have fun trying out the new Attack Helicopter and Hawk scout, but if you're not - Ambush Solo is coming this week.
