Treyarch and Activision have rolled out two complimentary Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 trailers, one for each of the game's modes - Zombies and Blackout, where the former focuses on familiar ground, meaning the Blood of the Dead story line.

First up is the Zombies: Blood of the Dead, which is actually a revisiting of the Zombies fan favourite map Mob of the Dead. It's still the same map more or less, except this time around, with a hefty overhaul, plenty of playable areas added and the spirit of the map hopefully intact.

The Zombies' cast was changed though, so we're looking at Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki, and Edward Richtofen. Note that they're the alternate, younger versions introduced in the Origins timeline. I'm not sure whether it's the spectacular music but it already looks like a clever choice.

Of course, that's not the only storyline in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 zombie tales, since we'll also be seeing Scarlett, Shaw, Diego and Bruno in the . Chaos will be taking us to RMS Titanic in Voyage of Despair, where a combination of dark magic and zombies transports the four to the Roman Colosseum in IX, where they kill some more zombie praetorians or whatever.

The second trailer is all about Blackout, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's battle royale mode, which once again reminds that it's got the biggest Call of Duty map ever. I can't stop looking at the though, because murderous intentions have truly never looked better.

Treyarch also reminded players that the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has finally received some proper love, with Beenox summoned specifically to tend to the of things. This led to plenty of changes on the PC, with weapon knockback specifically mentioned, all of which compound to the fact that cross-play ain't happening.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launches tomorrow, on 12 October 2018, for PC, PlayStation and Xbox One.
