Blizzard will talk more about Diablo 4's Season 1 in a special live stream but until then, we have a fresh teaser that shows Diablo world Sanctuary being corrupted.

Diablo 4 Season 1 should arrive sometime in the coming weeks and today, Blizzard will finally talk about what to expect from the debut seasonal content in terms of story, battle pass, and much much more.

The live stream for Season 1 is scheduled for 11:00 AM PT / 08:00 PM CET and it will air on the official Diablo YouTube and Twitch channels. Players can expect around 45 minutes of Diablo 4 content and 15 minutes of Diablo Immortal news.

But until then, we have a very mysterious tease on Diablo's Twitter profile, which shows The Sanctuary under threat from some sort of corruption. The teaser ends with the message "Corruption is spreading" which gives us the first clue about the Season 1 theme, which could see players fight to restore the sanctuary to its original state after it's been corrupted by a mysterious force.

Obviously, this is a lot of speculation since we don't really know the story details of Season 1 but it will certainly be interesting to see where Diablo 4 goes next with its narrative.

Perhaps we expect too much from the seasonal content but we're certainly not the only ones as fans on social media and gaming forums are hopeful for some meaningful additions like better itemisation, endgame and more.
