Bethesda have shared first screenshots from the upcoming Doom Eternal campaign DLC. The two screenshots show absolutely gigantic locations that players will get to visit in their playthrough.
Doom Eternal fans rejoice! The brutal shooter will soon get its first campaign DLC which will take you to new, yet unseen locations and hopefully let you kill some new monstrosities. The publisher Bethesda have shared first screenshots from the campaign DLC, revealing two of the new locations, which look absolutely stunning, as expected from ID Software's artists and designers.
One of the screenshots, which you can see below, shows a massive oil rig-like structure during a stormy night while the second one looks a lot like ruined Urdak, suggesting a Vega-related story, which many fans will certainly appreciate.
Sadly, we do not know when exactly will this campaign DLC arrive. Our guess would be that Bethesda could show the gameplay on one of the Summer of Gaming events with a release later in 2020 but at the moment, nothing has been officially confirmed.
One thing we know for certain about the new campaign DLC is that Doom and Doom Eternal composer Mick Gordon will not be working on the soundtrack, which will come as a shock to many Doom fans. You can read more about that in our earlier report.
Doom Eternal is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
