The new Black Ops 4 update introduces a special event stream in the Black Market called Barbarians, bringing 25 loot Tiers below the Operation Absolute Zero stream and new rewards, including Outfits, Calling Cards, Reactive Camo and KAP 45.
Barbarians is a new four-week special event stream which is added to the normal Contraband tier system. It brings 25 new tiers and it will last for four weeks. The new stream of content will be added as players unlock their next level, which means that if you're on Tier 45, the Barbarian stream will start on Tier 46.
Unlockable rewards include new Outfits, Gestures, Calling Cards, a new Reactive Camo for the Hades LMG, and a brand new weapon, the KAP 45 full-auto pistol.
Multiplayer Featured Playlist is being refreshed with Chaos Domination taking the spot along with Team Tactical Moshpit, Mercenary Deathmatch Moshpit, Mercenary Hardcore Moshpit, and Mercenary Capture Moshpit. Treyarch also added Elevation and Madagascar maps back to the rotation for Black Ops Pass holders in Standard and Hardcore Playlists.
These updates are live on PlayStation 4 while PC and Xbox One players will have to wait a bit more. But the last week's updates are now landing on PC and Xbox One. They include Gauntlets and new Epic Elixirs. Players will get to take on 30 timed rounds of challenges before hitting the laboratory to try out the Perk Up, Refresh Mint, and Conflagration Liquidation elixirs.
Another addition for PC and Xbox One players is the introduction of a new limited-time event mode Down But Not Out. The new mode will be available on 23 January at 7:00 PM CET (10 AM PT). Down But Not Out is a Squads exclusive mode and it allows players to respawn after each circle, as long as one of their squadmates is alive.
Treyarch also addressed issues with the looting interface in Blackout, which includes a bug where players would be unable to scroll the items until closing and re-opening a stash and another bug which denied tab switching after picking up items from the stash.
