Larian Studios don't often miss the mark but that appears to be the general consensus for the Patch 3 in Baldur's Gate 3.
Besides bringing the magic mirror that would allow players to alter their appearance, the patch was supposed to fix a bunch of things but instead, it broke them and brought changes that people didn't ask for.
One such example is giving His Majesty fur for some reason, which rightfully enraged the community.
Other messes include Gale being even more broken than with the initial release build where he would lock into a relationship with the main character at the slightest mention of being polite.
This time around, the opposite is true and Gale keeps treating the player with a hostile demeanour even though he has a high approval of the player's character.
Similarly, there are reports of players being unable to progress Wyll's quest in Act 3 now, which also blocks them from obtaining a legendary greatsword that is highly sought after by fighters, barbarians and paladins.
One of the unwanted changes pertains to the dyes which now alter the appearance of players' items in a different and much less attractive way. In this case, Larian tried to fix what wasn't broken and as the unwritten rule would have it - they made it worse.
