Amazon Italy have leaked the release date for Ubisoft's upcoming action-adventure Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. The release date was set for October 15, 2020, but has been quickly changed to a placeholder date since then.
According to a listing over at Amazon Italy, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla will launch on October 15. As you may know, earlier this month, a leak suggested that the game is releasing on October 16 2020 and the latest leak from Amazon Italy is just a day earlier, which suggests it may well indeed be true.
Between the two, we assume that October 16 is potentially a more realistic date since it is Friday and big AAA games usually release on Tuesdays or Fridays. Furthermore, October is the release month for almost every Assassin's Creed game and this will probably be the case with Valhalla too.
Amazon Italy have quickly removed the date and the listing now shows 31 December 2020, which is a placeholder date when the official date is yet to be unveiled.
At the moment, we do not have the official confirmation from Ubisoft, who probably plan to reveal the release date at one of the upcoming events, potentially at Ubisoft Forward, which is set for July 12 2020.
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is officially coming sometime during Holiday season 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
