Today, Ubisoft have finally announced the next major instalment in their popular Assassin's Creed series officially named Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. The full reveal with the first trailer is coming later today.

After many leaks and rumours, Ubisoft have officially announced the next instalment in their mega-popular action-adventure series Assassin's Creed. The game will be set in the Viking era just like earlier reports suggested and it is officially titled Valhalla, not Ragnarok as rumours suggested.

Ubisoft announced the full reveal of the game via live stream, which featured artist BossLogic drawing the key art for the game. BossLogic is notably known for his collaboration with Marvel for a Limited Edition Avengers: Endgame poster, as well as DC Comics on the upcoming Black Adam film.

Sadly, we did not get to see any gameplay, which is being teased for the full reveal, which should be coming next month. As for the key art, you can check it out above.

Many excited players are probably disappointed that we did not get more details about the game today, especially after all the hype in the last couple of days, but the first trailer is coming later today,  8:00 AM ET / 5:00 AM PT / 5:00 PT CET.

Ubisoft also promised to share more exciting details about the game in the upcoming months along with new gameplay footage and more. Reliable gaming journalist Jason Schreier also hinted that full gameplay reveal is coming at Xbox event later next month.
