Today, we have a fresh batch of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla details from the latest interview with Julien Laferriere, the game's producer. Laferriere talked about many things including the quest arcs, customisation options, raiding party, skill tree and much more.
He revealed that Assassin's Creed: Valhalla will have three gameplay archetypes just like Odyssey, which had Assassin, Warrior and Hunter. However, Laferriere did not specify if these will be the exact same archetypes.
As for the skills, players will have more freedom when it comes to the Skill Tree personalisation/customisation. Skills are described as "more granular" and not just a selection of skills.
You'll be able to call your mount or The Drakkar at any time, though you'll need to be close to the water to call the ship. The Drakkar can pack 8 crew members and it is fully customisable. On top of this, your crew will disembark to help in fights but only for activities that are close to water. The Viking companions on the ship can be either NPC or characters you met in the main story or side quests.
Valhalla also brings big quest arcs which start and end at the player's settlement. The developers aim to make the experience from each arc unique and the nature of these quest arcs is similar to an episode of a TV series.
You will also get to fish, sleep and talk to your warlord in the settlement among other things.
