Today we have a first look at the Order of the Ancients menu from Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The Order of the Ancients is basically a Cultist system from Odyssey but with a couple of improvements.
Last month, we found out that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will have The Order of the Ancients menu with around 30 targets to assassinate. Those who played Assassin's Creed Odyssey will probably know that this is basically a cultists system but there are some improvements that make the feature more fleshed out and enjoyable.
The biggest addition to the system is a confession room for each target. In Odyssey, you would simply assassinate the target and continue playing but in Valhalla, each member of the Order will have its confession scene where they will reveal their goals and reasons for the cause.
Today, we have a first look at the Order of the Ancients menu thanks to Reddit user named wael_ke who posted the screenshot which reveals a total of thirty targets.
Again, it's quite similar to Odyssey's cultist system menu, which you can check out below. We don't know about you but the cultist system in Odyssey was one of our favourite parts of the game and we really hoped Ubisoft expanded the feature to offer more depth and options.
It looks like they have done it to some degree but we will have to wait a bit more to find out just how enjoyable it will be to track down and assassinate the members of the Order.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is officially releasing on November 10, 2020, for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It's also coming to PlayStation 5 once the console launches.
