Ubisoft have revealed the first gameplay trailer for Assassin's Creed Mirage at the PlayStation Showcase last night along with the official release date and other details.
Following the recent leaks, Ubisoft have revealed the first gameplay trailer for Assassin's Creed Mirage , their first stealth-focused Assassin's Creed game in years.
Just as the rumours suggested earlier , Mirage will launch on October 12, 2023, and it's available for pre-order now across all storefronts and platforms.
The trailer gave us a first glimpse at the game's vibrant colour palette, stealth kills, parkour and a massive city to explore. It's certainly brought back memories of the first Assassin's Creed games and fans on social media and forums are delighted to see this popular series going back to its roots.
The Assassin's Creed community on Reddit and various gaming forums are quite happy with the reveal, praising the game's look, focus on stealth and return to a smaller but much denser map.
It certainly has been a long wait for such a title as Ubisoft have been focusing on gigantic open worlds and RPG systems, rather than what made Assassin's Creed so popular in the first place.
Luckily, the publisher have stated previously that they will look the develop both big open-world Assassin's Creed games like Valhalla, but also smaller experiences. Some of these have already been announced a while back.
Assassin's Creed Mirage is officially hitting the shelves on October 12, 2023, for PC , PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 , Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
