Here’s a complete list of all the balance changes arriving in the Apex Legends Double Take Collection Event patch on June 25th by Respawn Entertainment.

Apex Legends is gearing up for a significant update with the Double Take collection event, featuring a plethora of cosmetics and balance adjustments. Alongside these updates, a new Quads mode is set to shake up gameplay with teams of four. 

While the game traditionally revolves around three-player teams, Respawn is introducing this new mode as part of their ongoing experimentation with different team sizes, available for a limited time.

Respawn Entertainment is going to release a new patch on June 25, 2024 which will make some much needed changes and updates to the game. Here are all the highlights.

Balance Updates

Care Package

  • Purple light mag has been added.

Gold Weapons Rotation

  • Nemesis Burst AR, Triple-Take, Peacekeeper, Prowler PDW, Longbow DMR are in rotation.

End Rings

  • End rings now have a more even distribution across the map.
  • Each quadrant now has about a 25% chance of being selected.

Survival Slot Items

  • Survival slot items have been moved to low tier loot zones.

Weapons and Attachments

G7 Scout

  • Increased damage to 33 (previously 32).
  • Rate of fire boosted.
  • Improved recoil consistency at maximum fire rate.

Havoc Rifle

  • Reduced magazine sizes:
  • No Mag: 20 (previously 24)
  • White Mag: 24 (previously 28)
  • Blue Mag: 28 (previously 32)
  • Purple Mag: 32 (previously 36)

Longbow DMR

  • Headshot multiplier raised to 2.25 (previously 2.15).

R-99 SMG

  • Decreased hip-fire variability.

Rampage LMG

  • Reduced vertical movement in ADS firing animation.

Weapon Rarity Sets

  • Peacekeeper (Blue and Purple): Optic changed to 1x Hcog (previously 2x Bruiser)
  • Charge Rifle & Sentinel (Purple): Optic is updated to 4-8x (previously 2-4x) and Gunrun retains 2-4x.
  • 4x-10x Digital Threat Scope no longer provides threat vision through smoke or gas.

Legends Changes

Alter

  • Void Passage: Crypto's EMP now affects all players phased through the Void Passage.

Bangalore

  • Smoke Launcher: All players within smoke now have a white highlight visible to other players within 20m.

Bloodhound

  • Beast of the Hunt: Threat vision no longer visible through smoke or gas.
  • Upgrade: Level 2:
  • Raven’s Blessing: Ultimate charge reduced to 20% (previously 25%)
  • Upgrades: Level 3:
  • NEW Sighthound: Tactical cooldown reduced by 50% during Ultimate.
  • NEW Flock: Removes enemy range requirement for White Raven spawns.

Pathfinder

  • Upgrade: Level 3:
  • Down & Away: Tactical refreshes on both knocks and assisted knocks within a 3s window.

Revenant

  • Upgrade: Level 3:
  • Grim Leaper: Tactical refreshes on both knocks and assisted knocks within a 3s window.

Ranked Changes

Ranked Rumble now replaces regular Ranked League at season's end as the sole Ranked offering. Adjustments include lower entry costs above Bronze Tier and revised placement and Kill Point (KP) tuning:

  • Gold: 35 (previously 40)
  • Platinum: 55 (previously 60)
  • Diamond: 75 (previously 80)

Placement RP follows ALGS rules with all Top 15 gaining points:

  • 15th: 5 (previously 0)
  • 14th: 5 (previously 0)
  • Kill Point Tuning:
  • 8th: 14 (previously 12)
  • 7th: 14 (previously 12)
  • 6th: 16 (previously 12)

Legend Fixes

Alter

  • Players should no longer get stuck in the ceiling/floor using Void Passage.
  • Stuck projectiles (e.g., Arc Stars) now fall correctly when passing through Void Passage.
  • Void Siphon (the interactable part) no longer misses cooldown after exiting Void Passage (same as re-entering the portal).
  • Alter/Wraith/Ash: Void highlighting (and Alter’s Void Vision upgrade) no longer reveals real Mirage.

Catalyst

  • Piercing Spikes no longer activated by MRVNs.
  • Piercing Spikes activation no longer blocked by Gibraltar’s gun shield.

Octane

  • Fixed players gaining extra velocity from upgraded jump pads using certain inputs.

Revenant

  • Ash’s Arc snare no longer occasionally bounces off Forged Shadows.
