Anthem: Icetide's Week 10 stronghold is The Temple of Scar, new lore story incoming

By now you probably heard that Bioware are , having recognised that addressing all the core issues requires a reinvention, rather than isolated updates and/or expansions.

"Over the coming months we will be focusing on a longer-term redesign of the experience, specifically working to reinvent the core gameplay loop with clear goals, motivating challenges and progression with meaningful rewards – while preserving the fun of flying and fighting in a vast science-fantasy setting", they said. 

Back to the present though - Week 10 of Anthem: Icetide brings back The Temple of Scar stronghold, with its Frostbite daily challenge and Deep Freeze, which is the weekly variant. 

While we're on the subject of "present", the promise of an exciting new Anthem: Icetide lore story is turning out to be even more special than we thought. And it's coming on Thursday, just in time for Valentine's.

"Unlike previous lore stories, this one allows you, the reader, to make choices along the way, affecting how it plays out. One might call it a love story in lieu of Valentine’s Day, but it’s a bit deeper than that, to say the least", the dev wrote. No wonder the writing team was all excited about it. 

We thought that Anthem: Icetide's earlier stories, and , were a blast, and we cannot recommend them enough.
