Treyarch officially confirmed the release date for Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Zombies new map named Ancient Evil. The map is coming on 26 March 2019 to PlayStation 4 and it's the final Chaos story experience of the current Zombies season.

Treyarch are releasing the next chapter of the Black Ops 4 Zombies next week on PlayStation 4 with Ancient Evil map. It's the final Chaos story experience of the current Zombies season and it's set in Ancient Greece.

Treyarch said that a first proper gameplay trailer is just around the corner and that more details about the new map will be shared as we get closer to the release date which is set for 26 March 2019.

After the Ancient Evil drops, Treyarch will release two more Zombies experiences that will take place in the Aether storyline, something that classic Zombies fans should be more familiar with.

Anyway, while you wait for the next Zombies map, you may want to take a look at the new additions that just dropped on Xbox One and PC after one-week exclusivity on PlayStation 4.

The first addition is a special St. Patrick's Day event named Shamrock & Awe that introduces free seasonal content to Multiplayer, Blackout, and Zombies. This limited-time update includes St. Patrick’s Stockpile in Multiplayer, Hardcore Mode along with the Homunculus Leprechauns and his Pot-o-Gold in Blackout, green-eyed zombies with new seasonal Easter Egg in Zombies, and free personalisation items for logging in during the event.

On top of all this content, Treyarch also added some updates across all modes on PC as a result of players' feedback.

A couple of weeks ago, Treyarch introduced some changes to allow faster matchmaking across all game modes but today's patch reverses those changes and splits back Deathmatch Moshpit playlist into separate Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed playlists.

The matchmaking is also a big problem in Blackout on PC and that's why Treyarch reduced the number of players required to auto-start Quads, Duos and Solo matches from 100 to 80 for faster match start times.
