The new chapter from the horror series Amnesia called Amnesia: The Bunker has been postponed once again and is now coming out on June 6, 2023.
We will have to wait two weeks longer than it was originally planned to play Amnesia: The Bunker. Frictional Games has announced that the new release date for their newest horror title is now set for June 6, 2023.
The developers cited multiple game crashes they had discovered at the last minute as the reason for this unforeseen delay. Since resolving these crashes will take more than two weeks, they opted to allow themselves extra time to address those issues and polish the game even more.
The statement made by the representative of Fictional Games regarding the postponement alternative is extremely intriguing. They claim that if they did not postpone the game, their employees would have to work weekends and night shifts, which they claim no one agreed to.
This is already the third delay for the new Amnesia. The game was initially scheduled to be released in March, but it had to be delayed since a large number of Frictional Games staff had to abruptly take sick leave.
If you consider the many games that were excellent but whose excellence could not be seen clearly due to technical shortcomings, game delays may not be such a bad thing. Therefore, if the delay will result in a more polished game, we applaud the developer for taking this action.
Otherwise, once released, Amnesia: The Bunker will be available for PlayStation 4 , Xbox One , Xbox Series X|S and PC .
