The recently released follow-up to the popular FPS horror Dead Island, Dead Island 2, has just unveiled a new DLC called Haus. Deep Silver made the announcement through an action-packed trailer, revealing that the DLC is available for immediate download and that all Season Pass holders can access it right away too.
The DLC is set to unfold within an enigmatic villa in Malibu, and the accompanying video provides a glimpse of new zombie enemies and an abundance of frenzied action involving the relentless extermination of numerous infected creatures.
Initial reports suggest that the primary focus of this first story expansion for Dead Island 2 will revolve around the Kult, an organisation encountered in the base game. Players will be presented with the choice to align with them or fight against them.
What's interesting is that this DLC is exclusively available for individual purchase on the Epic Games Store, priced at $12.99. On all other platforms, it's bundled with the Season Pass, which is priced at $29.99, which probably indicates that Deep Silver is not done with Dead Island 2, nor by a long shot, and that we might get more content in the future.
