Join us tomorrow in the announced Nintendo Direct, which will be about the currently available titles, as well as the upcoming ones, and hopefully some big news from Nintendo. Fingers crossed.
It’s been a long time since the full-sized Nintendo Direct event. A very long time, actually. Specifically, the last Nintendo Direct happened back in 2019, on September 4.
Nintendo have announced today that the new Nintendo Direct will be held tomorrow on February 17, more precisely a stream lasting approximately 50 minutes, in which there will be talk about existing Nintendo games, such as Super Mario Bros. Ultimate, and the upcoming Switch titles as well.
"Tune in 2/17 at 2 p.m. PT for a Nintendo Direct livestream featuring roughly 50 minutes of information focused on available games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and games coming to Nintendo Switch in the first half of 2021."
Will this wait pay off? Many Nintendo fans have begun to suspect that these types of Nintendo Direct have died, but we see that Nintendo have not yet decided on such a move.
What we will see tomorrow, we do not know, but as many predict, an announcement for the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate character is a safe bet.
Will there be news about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2? Or news about Metroid Prime 4, finally?! We'll see tomorrow when we join the stream:
- 2 PM PT
- 5 PM ET
- 10 PM in the UK
- 11 PM in Europe
If by any chance Nintendo announces a new Switch console tomorrow, the internet will explode, so get ready for a total blackout.
