Rosters for the LEC season 2023 are mostly complete, with just three spots across the 10 teams still not being confirmed.
Last updated on November 23, 2022.
League of Legends pro scene is currently in the process of shuffling rosters as teams are trying to secure the best possible players for themselves while blocking others from progressing.
This usually comes at a high cost for players themselves but Riot Games are yet to intervene and these practices continue.
That said, most European teams have locked their rosters by now and only three slots out of the possible 50 are left open so it's high time to take a look at what the teams will look like in LEC Spring Split of 2023.
G2 Esports
- BrokenBlade
- Yike
- caPs
- Hans Sama
- Mikyx
Yike replaced Jankos who is in contract jail right now. After going through similar treatment previously, Mikyx still decided to accept a spot on G2 for some reason.
Fnatic
- Wunder
- Razork
- Humanoid
- Rekkles
- Rhuckz
Team Orange replaced the bot lane even though Upset is seen as one of the best, if not the best ADC outside of LCK and LPL. Reportedly, the reason was that his behaviour outside of games was so bad the rest of the team didn't want to play with him. He is replaced by Rekkles, whom he replaced before.
MAD Lions
- Chasy
- Elyoya
- Nisqy
- Carzzy
- Hylissang
Hylissang had a less-than-stellar showing at Worlds 2022 but it's unclear whether this was the reason for his move to MAD. With Carzzy returning to the team, the duo will either have massive carry potential or their breakneck antics will ruin matches. Probably a bit of both.
KOI
- Szygenda
- Malrang
- Larssen
- Comp
- Trymbi
Previously known as Rogue, the team was the only one from the western hemisphere that made it out of groups at Worlds 2022. They only replaced Odoamne with Szygenda for the next season.
Heretics
- Evi
- Jankos
- Ruby
- Jackspektra
- Mersa
The newcomers to LEC have two of the three remaining empty spots. With Jankos' contract jail getting softer, according to the latest rumours, it's not impossible they get to sign him.
Excel Esports
- Odoamne
- Xerxe
- Vetheo
- Patrik
- Targamas
XL had a great run following the addition of Mikyx and a BootCamp last season but they ended up trading supports with G2 anyway. Still, the team managed to pick up a roster that looks very promising and it's safe to say LEC has another contender for the crown next season.
Team Vitality
- Photon
- Bo
- Perkz
- Neon
- Kaiser
Following the disaster that was the superteam of 2022, VIT reorganised with only Perkz sticking around while investing in younger talent. Photon replaced Alphari, Bo seems to be finally ready to be the starting jungler while the bot lane now consists of some of the better players from 2022.
SK Gaming
- Irelevant
- Markoon
- Sertuss
- Exakick
- Doss
LDL OL produced a lot of talent for LEC as the team was picked apart by G2 who grabbed Yike and SK who took the entire bot lane. It remains to be seen whether anyone grabs Ragner in the end but rumour has it that Heretics wanted to but didn't get him.
Astralis
- Finn
- 113
- Dajor
- Kobbe
- JeongHoon
Astralis acquired Finn in top lane in an attempt to grab some wins and avoid being called Lastralis for another season. Their jungler remains a mystery for the time being. It looks like 113 will be their jungler in Season 13.
Team BDS
- Adam
- Sheo
- Nuclearint
- Crownie
- Labrov
Adam managed to return to BDS after a stint with the academy team and now he is also back in the LEC. Since BDS was the last team to leak the ADC, fans were having fun at Upset's expense, suggesting his only choice would now be the French team where he would be reunited with Adam.
