Riot Games usually stick to a two-week patch cycle but three-week cycles happen now and then. League of Legends patch 9.14 will be caught by one of those cycles but it is not really weird to see since it will bring major content updates.

Riot Games have announced League of Legends World Championship dates and venues. The main event of Season 9 will commence on 2 October 2019 and will be held in three major European cities across three countries - Berlin, Madrid and Paris.

Riot Games recently added new finishers in League of Legends which would activate strobing lights that turned out to be dangerous to people with photosensitive epilepsy. Riot initially didn't plan on removing it but changed their mind.

League of Legends' second biggest tournament of the season has concluded its group stage and semi-finals matchups are now known. The reigning world champion Invictus Gaming will take on Team Liquid while SKT T1 will clash with G2 Esports.
