Riot Games released League of Legends patch 9.22 and with it came two notifications - the ranked season is wrapping up in roughly two weeks while Senna is mere days away from release on live servers.
League of Legends ranked Season 9 is wrapping up on 19 November 2019. This means you have roughly to weeks to rank up to at least Gold in order to get the Victorious Aatrox skin. Then again, based on the feedback, it appears not everyone is enticed enough with the new cosmetic for the Darkin.
Meanwhile, Senna is coming out of Thresh's lantern on 10 November 2019 which is just four days away from the time of writing. The support/marksman hybrid brings some new and some familiar mechanics to League's gameplay so here are a few highlights.
Senna's auto attacks can gain some nutty attributes, based on the amount of mist she collects. This can result in ridiculously high damage and range, depending on how diligent she is with collecting the mist. While will not be a thing in regular games, it's still fun to see Vandiril having fun with it.
Her Curse of the Black Mist essentially works the same way as Pyke's Ghostwater Dive but with a few extra kinks. She does not camouflage herself alone - all nearby allies gain camo and bonus movement speed as well. Furthermore, CC like hooks that would reveal Pyke, do not reveal Senna. The only way to see her is to send a tank into her face.
Keep in mind that Senna's ult behaves like a global Lux laser so if you are bullying her top laner, make sure you are ready to evade the skill shot. Or just time it so you are aware when she cannot help her ally on the other side of the map.
