As unlikely as it may sound, it's real alright - Tencent's PUBG Mobile and Capcom's Resident Evil 2 are heading for a crossover event of some sort. Of course, it doesn't take a genius to know it will feature battle royale and zombies.

PUBG Mobile kicks off Season 4 with new gun

Tencent Games and PUBG Corp have rolled out the 0.9.5. patch for PUBG Mobile, kicking off the game's Season 4 by adding M762 automatic rifles, new 2-seater scooters exclusive to Sanhok, dynamic weather, hardcore mode and a bunch more.

Fix PUBG campaign is over says PUBG Corp.

A new dev letter has been published on PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Steam page in which the Executive Producer Taeseok Jang has confirmed the Fix PUBG campaign has come to an end. The company also shared the updated 2019 roadmap for PUBG.

PUBG release date revealed for PlayStation 4

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is finally coming to PlayStation 4, well past its prime and in true Sony fashion, the game will feature exclusive items from, well, exclusive PS4 titles. PUBG Corp made Nathan Drake skin just for this occasion.

When every anti-hacking attempt by PUBG Corp and Bluehole fails, hackers rise up to the occasion. Such is the case with Asian servers where one group of hackers is specifically hunting down other hackers, leaving regular players alone.

If you want to play as Harley Quinn in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds it will cost you $25, and for the arguably worst version of Joker ever you'll have to pay $18 it's been revealed as PUBG crossover with DC Comics has now gone live.

If you've been looking to get into PUBG on Xbox One then we've got good news - Microsoft and PUBG Corp have made Playerunknown's Battlegrounds free to download and keep, although we're not sure for how long so you may want to hurry.

PUBG PS4 release could happen in December

Two promotional pictures of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds have been revealed by a member of PSNProfiles forum along with ID codes of the game. The information comes just a month before the one year anniversary of PUBG's Xbox One release.

Using AMD cards might get you banned on PUBG

Several users of AMD GPUs have reported that they have been banned from PUBG even though they didn't use cheats. Initially, no one knew what the cause could be, but PUBG Corp confirmed that the issues were resolved and it's safe to log in.

In spite of PUBG Corp recently starting their Fix PUBG campaign, which couldn't be more ridiculous if it tried, there's been surprisingly little progress and the latest developments oh so painfully show it. We will get skins though.

PUBG's PC update adds new gun and game mode

PUBG Corp have rolled out the PC update #23 to the test servers, adding among other things a brand new weapon called the Skorpion and a new War Mode: Conquest, which pits platoons of 50 against one another in a fight for objectives.

PUBG's anti cheat to ban hackers' hardware

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has been suffering from a serious hacker infestation for a year now and it seems like pest control is only waking up now. Apparently, the newly announced anti-cheat system will ban users' hardware permanently.

PUBG is getting a professional eSports league

PUBG may not still be eSports ready but that's not going to stop PUBG Corp and StarLadder from kicking off additional professional eSports leagues. The new league will be called PUBG Europe League and is set to commence in January 2019.

PUBG banned over 13 million cheaters

PUBG Corp appear to have been more transparent with their Korean players as they kept posting the numbers of banned accounts since 16 June 2017. With great cheater numbers come great ban numbers, totaling at over 13 million so far.

PUBG reruns Desert Knights event on Xbox One

PUBG Corp have announced they'll be repeating the Desert Knights event on Xbox One this weekend, although it will feature several slight changes such as increased player count, group queueing with 8 man squads and a few other adjustments.

PUBG Mobile getting a $600K tournament

PUBG Corp and Tencent Games have announced a mobile esports tournament dubbed the PUBG Mobile Star Challenge. It starts on 29 September 2018 in Kiev, Ukraine, and ends in Dubai, UAE, at the end of 2018, with a hefty $600K prize pool.

PUBG gets a 1.0 build on test servers

PUBG has a new patch on the test servers. Players will be able to choose which map they want to play in the future. The in-game report button now also works. Both of these things should have been in the game in the first place maybe?

PUBG's new map live along with a big patch

During the last night's Game Awards 2017, Bluehole announced that a PC version of PUBG will be available on 20 December. The new desert map is now available for testing on the game's servers. A big patch was deployed alongside Miramar.

Speaking in an interview on this year's E3, Brendan Greene touched on the recent accusations of PUBG being an asset flip for reasons of using store-purchased assets on all of the game's maps. Greene jokingly suggested he wants to kill them.

It seems like regular PUBG players can't escape cheaters, regardless of the platform they're playing on. PC players are still having issues with hackers, while mobile and Xbox One player base have to deal with keyboard & mouse users.

PUBG Corp and Bluehole have announced a new update for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds which will contain a new ranking system that should help prevent pub-stomping and a feature that detects your region automatically, locking China out.

PUBG for PS4 leaked by a game rating board

Korean Game Rating Board has posted ratings for PUBG on PlayStation 4 and inadvertently leaked the game's port to Sony's platform. This theory is compounded by the fact that PUBG is reaching the end of exclusivity contract with Microsoft.
