Alright, we’ll spare you the cheesy ahoy-matey attempts at setting the tone and skip to the meat - Sea of Thieves closed beta has ended with a total of 332,052 players. Although a seemingly unimpressive figure at first, the fact that it’s a closed beta of a Microsoft exclusive title puts a really positive spin on it.

PUBG's anti-cheat update delayed

PUBG Corp delayed the latest anti-cheat update due to an "unexpected issue". During a sweep of helper programs that alter the graphics or aid gameplay in some way, BattleEye went ahead and blocked ReShade. You'll need to re-install the game only if its files have been already damaged.

One million cheaters banned from PUBG

PUBG's problem with cheaters is still growing in spite ever tightening anti-tamper measures. BattlEye's Twitter account reported that more than one million players had been banned in January 2018 alone. More measures are on the way.

PUBG's PC test servers are sporting a new patch. The latest update has brought some more performance improvements both server and client-side. Due to the new anti-cheat system, some players might experience game crashes.

PUBG Corp has rolled out a new patch for the Xbox One version of their PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Changes have been made to the game's control scheme, and an auto/run function has been added. Other various bugs have been fixed.

Microsoft's Mike Ybarra teased some 'bigger, more bolder changes' back in August 2017. One new feature for Xbox Live is called 'Career' and it might bring these 'bold changes'. The Career system seems to feature quests with experience rewards as well as loot boxes.
