Although we already know all there is to know about Rare's new swashbucklin' adventure, we couldn't let the last weekend before Sea of Thieves pass without it, even if it is only the launch trailer, which teases the Kraken. Nothing special.

Rare have been preparing for this for a while now and I guess the guys can finally take a deserved rest over the weekend. Unlike some of us, har har.

As you can see, the Sea of Thieves launch trailer teases the mighty Kraken and we already envision meeting the little guy. We must admit, it looked a bit smaller in the earlier shots, maybe it put on some weight?

We screen-capped a moment from the trailer and put some additional lighting, just so as to take a closer look. Would you look at the size of that?

Naturally, players will need help from other Sea of Thieves denizens and I'm not sure whether it's possible to survive one if you're soloing your ship. Well, I'm sure some Thieves will try and we can't wait to see.

Microsoft has already started offering Sea of Thieves with their Xbox One X consoles. Unfortunately, it seems like Microsoft rushed this one out somewhat, because the £449.99/$499.99 only includes a vanilla Xbox One X and Sea of Thieves copy.

The controller is bog standard one, not even the one Microsoft had tailored for Rare's title. That sort of pleasure will apparently require more cash.

File size for Sea of Thieves has been revealed as well and the game will take up 18.73GB on Xbox consoles, whereas PCs will require 19.60GB.

The game, as you know, is on track for launch on 20 March 2018, so nothing left to do other than countdown.
